Aug 13 : The Delhi High Court has slammed India Today Senior Journalist Rajeep Sardesai after he uploaded the video of BJP Spokesperson Shazia Ilmi misbehaving with cameraman .
“You had no authority to record and no authority to use” the court told the senior journalist and ordered him to take down the video he uploaded on X (Twitter) accusing BJP Spokesperson Shazia Ilmi of abusing an India Today video journalist after an heated debate with him , where she left the show midway claiming her mic was intentionally muted.
The court’s decision comes after Shazia Ilmi filed a defamation suit against Rajdeep , claiming the video was recorded without her consent and invaded her privacy.
